While it may be a stretch, Stanford is still in contention for a spot in the College Football Playoff. However, Stanford head coach David Shaw is not concerned about the playoffs. At all.
Stanford takes on USC for the Pac-12 title at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. this Saturday and the game seems to be all Shaw can focus on, with good reason. The Cardinal have a chance to clinch a spot in the Rose Bowl and win the Pac-12 crown for the third time in four seasons.
As for the playoffs, Shaw said that there's no point in talking about them with one huge game still left to play.

Shaw is clearly a player, not a talker.
