Players you want on your college football fantasy team.

After a week of mixed results in my fantasy picks in week 2, I am looking to bounce back here in week three. I think we will be able to find some values this week, especially with how the season has been playing out so far.

QB

I will be on two immensely talented quarterbacks this week who FanPicks prices have fallen due to the recent disappointing performances of them and their teams. Joshua Dobbs($6,000)

is facing an Ohio team who gave up 38 points to Texas Southern just in regulation before losing in overtime 56-54. With the high expectations for Tennessee and Dobbs and the near loss to Appalachian State, Dobbs’ price on FanPicks has fallen to $6,000.

Another QB who’s price has fallen after failing to meet expectations in the first two weeks of the season is Deshaun Watson($5,500). Watson isn’t having the season he had last year, but only being two weeks into the season I don’t expect that to last all season. His price has fallen even more than Dobbs’ and he should get back on track this week against FCS opponent South Carolina State who is 0-2 against two FBS schools in UCF and La. Tech. The Bulldogs have given up a combined total of 91 points in those two games giving Watson a good game to get back on track.

Other Options: J.T. Barrett($7,800), Deondre Francios($6,300), Josh Rosen($4,800)

RB

Corey Clement($5,100) Clement and the Wisconsin Badgers are facing currently the worst rush defense in college football in Georgia State. The Panthers have given up a total of 789 yards on the ground so far this season and Clement should be able to continue cause that number to climb, and a low salary of $5,100 he could provide some great value.

Dalvin Cook($6,000) is the second running back I like this weekend. Cook hasn’t had any eye popping games this year but I believe he will sooner rather than later. I also don’t think that the Louisville Cardinals have really been tested yet this season. Hopefully Dalvin Cook can have a breakout performance on this big stage and jump back in the Heisman race. He is another player who’s salary has dropped due to a slow start.

Other Options: Ralph Webb($6,100), Christian McCaffrey($7,900), Keith Ford($5,000)

WR

My first pick at WR I think is a little risky because of the big time match up and I am not sure how it will end. K.J. Hill($4,300) has shown he can be a deep threat which is huge in fantasy football. Although his big play came against Bowling Green, Oklahoma ranks 19 in passing yards given up this season, and wasn’t too impressive against Houston (in my opinion). Hill could be a key to the Buckeyes pulling out a win in Norman this weekend and offers some value at such a low salary.

My next pick at receiver is a little bit of a gut pick. Zach Austin($4,200) plays in the pass heavy offense of Texas Tech and plays with a talented quarterback in Pat Maholmes. Austin has a low price due to lack of production this year, but with the Red Raider offense, anything is possible and I will likely be taking a gamble on Austin this week.

Other Options: Courtland Sutton($7,100), KaVontae Turpin($5,000), Travis Rudolph($6,100)
