Clemson WR Renfrow out at least 4 weeks

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Clemson starting receiver Hunter Renfrow will miss at least four games with a broken right hand.
Renfrow's injury came on a 35-yard touchdown catch in a 30-24 victory over Troy on Saturday. He had a wrap on the hand afterward, but said the injury was not serious. However, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said an MRI exam Monday showed a ''little crack below his thumb.''
Swinney said Renfrow could play, but would have difficulty holding the ball. Swinney said Renfrow would need surgery. Renfrow plans to return against North Carolina State on Oct. 15.
Renfrow is a redshirt sophomore and former walk-on who caught two TDs in Clemson's 45-40 loss to Alabama in the national championship game.
Backup Ray-Ray McCloud will take Renfrow's place in the starting lineup.
