With the focus turning toward recruiting again, now that spring football is in the past, Notre Dame fans are getting hungry for updates from the trail.

Justin Kenny of The News-Sentinel has those fans covered. His monthly update ranks the top five targets the Fighting Irish should be after in April, and defensive end Auston Robertson of Fort Wayne, Ind., tops the ranking.

"The 6-foot-5, 230-pound freak athlete has lined up at various camps at end, linebacker, safety and cornerback to show off his versatility and exceptional skill set," Kenny wrote.

Robertson is considering Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan State, according to The News-Sentinel, and is expected to announce his decision June 7.

Defensive end Josh King owns the No. 2 spot on Kenny's ranking. Safety Craig Watts, defensive end Khalid Kareem and running back Elijah Holyfield round out the list.
