Clarence Green recognized for tremendous humanitarian efforts

Not only has starting linebacker Clarence Green performed exceptionally well on the football field for the Missouri Tigers, but he's also done a whole lot of good off the gridiron.
On Wednesday afternoon, the senior from Texas was named to the 2015 SEC Football Community Service team. He will represent the university as the only member on the team from Mizzou.
Green did a myriad of things within the community to garner such a wonderful title.
He was a proponent of children's well-being -- as evidenced by his volunteer efforts at Granny's House (a local ministry working with children) and spending time reading to children at a Dr. Seuss Literacy Charity event.
Green also worked a food drive, and participated at the Central Missouri Food Bank.
Credit the linebacker for truly making a difference on and off the field.
