Chubb, Richt talk about the challenge of running on Alabama's defense

Going up against one of the toughest defensive fronts in the country, Nick Chubb will be attempting to do something no team has done this season - rush for over 100 yards on Alabama.

Georgia's tailback hasn't circled the number to etch his name in the school's record book, which he would do by compiling his 13th consecutive 100-yard rushing game, no he simply wants to prove he can accomplish what has yet to be done by any team this season.

“I’m more motivated to get 100 yards not because I could break the record but just because they haven’t allowed anyone to get 100 yards on them this season,” Chubb said according to Dawg Nation. “I know my (offensive) line is also very excited about it. They’re probably more excited about breaking the record, just being a part of this, what we’ve got going on."

Alabama is currently yielding only 56 rushing yards per game to opponents. Ole Miss was the closest team to breaking the century mark on the Tide's defense, as the Rebels had 92 rushing yards in their game.

“This game is a line of scrimmage game,” Mark Richt said. “It’s going to start on the line and our quarterbacks are going to have to makes some plays, ours and Bama’s. Sometimes making a play is just doing what you always do. … Rarely does a guy have to do something acrobatic or above and beyond the call of duty. Just do your job and do it well. That gives you a chance.”
