Charleston Southern 42, Edward Waters 7

Teddy Allen and the Charleston Southern ground game chewed up Edward Waters for 409 rushing yards on 59 carries Saturday in a 42-7 nonconference win.
Allen carried the ball 17 times for 115 yards and two scores. Four different Buccaneers (4-4) ran for at least 60 yards, including Malcolm Dixon, who had two touchdowns among his seven carries for 60 yards, and was also 5-of-6 passing for 115 yards and a score.
Charleston Southern outgained the Tigers (1-5) 524-192 and outrushed them by 253 yards. Edward Waters had eight first downs to the Buccaneers' 29, and passed for just 36 yards.
Dixon started the scoring with an 8-yard touchdown run, the first of 42 consecutive points for the Buccaneers as they trounced their National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics opponent.
Ray Dukes ran in Edward Waters' lone score - a 4-yarder with 5:43 to play.
