Brian Fowler ran for three touchdowns and 101 yards on 20 carries for Central Connecticut State, which rolled up a 359-108 edge in rushing yardage in a 42-21 win over Bryant on Saturday in the season finale for both teams.

Chris Tolbert led the Blue Devils' (4-7, 3-5 Northeast Conference) rushing attack with 142 yards and a score on 22 carries and also caught his only pass for a 5-yard score, while quarterback Gunnar Jespersen added 82 yards rushing on 16 carries. Jespersen was also 10 of 17 for 100 yards passing with two touchdown passes.

Bryant's Mike Croce threw a TD to Matt Tracey to put the Bulldogs (7-4, 5-3) up 21-7 midway through the second quarter.

But it was all Blue Devils after that.
