Catterall's three TDs earn league honour

Oakville's Jordan Catterall is the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) football offensive player of the week.
Catterall caught three touchdown passes Saturday to lead the St. Francis Xavier X-Men to a 37-26 victory over Mount Allison. Catterall had four receptions on the day, totaling 109 yards as the X-Men earned their first win of the season.
Catterall capped St. Francis Xavier's first drive of the game by catching a 45-yard pass from quarterback Cory Wensley.
The Holy Trinity grad's next two touchdowns came 1:17 apart in the second quarter. First, he caught a ball pitched to him by fellow receiver Devon Bailey and raced down the sideline for the TD. Next, on a play set up by an X-Men interception, Catterall caught a nine-yard pass from Wensley to give his team a 24-9 lead.
Catterall leads the team in receptions (14), receiving yards (198) and touchdowns (3) through four games.
He has also run the ball four times for 35 yards and returned six kicks for 105 yards.
