Cal, Sonny Dykes agree to four-year extension

Cal head coach Sonny Dykes has agreed to a four-year extension with the Bears.

As FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman reported earlier this week, Dykes and the university were nearing an agreement on an extension and a raise.

Feldman reports that the new deal will average $2.825 million over the next four years.

Here is what Dykes said about the deal in a statement released by the school:

#Cal's new deal with Sonny Dykes is official. He's signed thru 2019. He will average $2.825 million over the next four years.
