Cal lands Georgia linebacker Markus Wright

The Cal Bears are on a roll in recruiting.

On Monday, LB Markus Wright from Columbus (Ga.) Jordan high school committed to the Cal Bears. Wright was offered by the Bears a month ago and made his final decision on Monday night.

Wright held offers from all of the service academies (Army, Navy and Air Force). He is also Cal's first linebacker commit of the 2016 class.
