Branden Oliver ran for two touchdowns as Buffalo snapped a four-game losing streak with a 51-10 win over Akron on Saturday.

Oliver rushed for 235 yards and has 1,268 this season, just 65 yards short of the school record with one game remaining.

It was the most points scored by Buffalo (3-8, 2-5 Mid-American Conference) in more than 10 seasons.

Chazz Anderson passed for 155 yards and two touchdowns, both to Fred Lee, and ran for another score as the Bulls amassed 497 total yards and bolted to a 30-3 halftime lead. Patrick Clarke kicked three field goals for the Bulls.

Patrick Nicely threw a 64-yard pass to Marquelo Suel for Akron's only touchdown. The Zips (1-10, 0-7), who gained only 239 yards total offense, have lost seven straight and have scored 10 points or less in each of the past three games.
