Bryant 26, Sacred Heart 6

Jordan Brown rushed for 248 yards and returned a punt for a touchdown, leading Bryant to a 26-6 victory at Sacred Heart on Friday night.

Mike Croce threw two touchdown passes to Matt Tracey as the Bulldogs (2-1, 1-0 Northeast Conference) scored 24 points in the second quarter. Brown's 53-yard return with 7:35 left in the first half made it 16-3.

Chris Rogers kicked two field goals for Sacred Heart (0-2, 0-1), which was held to 263 yards of offense. Tim Little completed 16 of 41 passes for 157 yards with an interception.

Croce was 8 for 16 for 72 yards as Bryant relied heavily on its running game. Brown had 38 of the Bulldogs' 53 rushing attempts.
