Bruin proposes on field after game

UCLA's Myles Jack was the star of the game Friday night at Washington, but teammate Stan McKay was the star of the postgame.

McKay, a senior linebacker/safety, took a knee after the Bruins' 41-31 win and with teammates, friends and even coach Jim Mora watching, proposed to his girlfriend.

When she said yes — who says no after a win? — the crowd swarmed the happy couple.

The 13th-ranked Bruins are sitting pretty at 8-2, and they have an even better record with proposals. Just check out this guy popping the question to a cheerleader live on FOX Sports 1 during a Nov. 2 win over Colorado:

They're pretty good at football, too. Especially with this Jack kid.

Jack followed up his 120-yard debut at running back last week by becoming the 13th player in UCLA history to score four touchdowns. UCLA stayed right behind division leader Arizona State, which visits Pasadena next weekend.

"I don't really take much credit for it," Jack said. "It's just the line blocking for me. The holes are right there, and I just hit them. When I'm in there, everybody in the stadium knows what we're about to run."

Oh, and he also made five tackles playing linebacker.

"He's having fun out there," said Brett Hundley, who passed for 159 yards and two scores. "I talk to him in the backfield and put a smile on his face. He's a monster, that's all I can say."
