Brown 35, Cornell 24

Kyle Newhall-Caballero threw two touchdowns and ran for two more as Brown beat Cornell 35-24 on Saturday.
Newhall-Caballero's first touchdown, a 27-yard pass to Jimmy Saros, tied the game 7-7 while his second, a 2-yard run, made the score 14-10 and gave Brown (5-1, 2-1 Ivy League Conference) their first lead of the game. Newhall-Caballero scored on a 14-yard run and added a 45-yard touchdown pass to extend the Bears' lead to 28-16.
John Spooney took over from there, taking a handoff 81 yards for a touchdown to put the game out of reach for Cornell.
Newhall-Caballero finished with 256 yards on 22-of-33 passing while rushing for 43 yards. Spooney added 156 rushing yards on 20 carries.
Jeff Mathews threw for 402 yards and two touchdowns for Cornell (2-4, 0-3) but the Big Red quarterback was sacked six times.
Brown has won the last four matchups between the teams.
