Breaking: Bateman to start for Alabama

Cooper Bateman will start over Jacob Coker at quarterback for Alabama in its big SEC West Division showdown with Ole Miss on Saturday night.

The Utah native has gone 18-of-25 for 149 yards in limited time this year. While Coker had been getting the majority of the snaps as a starter, Bateman's advantage athletically could be a reason as to why he got the call versus a very active Ole Miss defense led by stud defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche.
