Baylor K Aaron Jones sets NCAA mark with 254th PAT

Baylor kicker Aaron Jones has set an NCAA record with his 254th career made extra point kick.

Jones set the mark with his third PAT in the first quarter of the fourth-ranked Bears' game Saturday night against Texas Tech.

The senior kicker has made all 62 of his PATs this season for the nation's highest-scoring team, and has the NCAA's longest active streak making 169 in a row.

Art Carmody of Louisville made 253 career PATs from 2004-07.

Jones is already Baylor's career scoring leader, with 413 points after the PATs in the first quarter. He also has a school-record 53 field goals made.
