Auburn WR Williams leaves with injury

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) Auburn wide receiver D'haquille Williams injured his right knee while attempting a catch and won't return to the game.

Williams was helped off the field in the second quarter of the third-ranked Tigers' game with Texas A&M on Saturday. He was on the ground for a few minutes, and fans chanted his nickname ''Duke.''

Auburn officials didn't provide details on the injury.

The junior college transfer, who was one of Auburn's top signees, sat on the sideline with a towel over his head before going to the locker room.

Williams entered the game leading the Tigers in receiving with 37 catches for 598 yards and five touchdowns. Nobody else on the team had 20 catches coming into the game.
