Winter Garden, Florida native Woody Barrett has just won over the hearts of Auburn fans everywhere as he announced his intentions to join the Tigers over rival Alabama during a ceremony at his high school on Wednesday.

Barrett is a census four-star quarterback prospect, whom possesses the size, six-foot-two 221-pounds, and speed, runs a 4.6 40-yard dash, to excel in Gus Malzahn's system.

Everything Alabama recently spoke with Barrett's high school coach Bob Head regarding his talented quarterback.

"He's got a really big body and great frame," Head, said. "He doesn't have any fat on him. He reminds me of a Steve McNair or Vince Young type-body, he looks like a linebacker. He's really naturally strong and runs the ball like a running back. We're working on his accuracy, but he's really tough and plays with a reckless abandon and it brings the best out of his natural instincts. He's very dynamic."

Auburn fans have got to love those comparisons. But what kind of person will the Tigers be getting in Barrett?

"He's never given us one day of trouble," Head said. "He has not qualified yet and we're still working on his academics, but I feel like he will. He's a good leader and the kids really responded to him. He just needs to keep developing... he's got to do a lot of stuff on his own, but he has all the tools and all the intangibles."

Tigers' offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee echoes Auburn Nation's feelings today:
