Alabama gains three-star TE commitment

The Alabama Crimson Tide have landed another tight end for their 2016 recruiting class in Cartersville, Georgia native Miller Forristall. The tight end becomes the Tide's 15 commitment thus far as Nick Saban and his staff looks to once again compete for the top recruiting class in the nation.
Following his announcement, Forristall spoke to 247 Sports to discuss his commitment.
"It's the best football program in the country," Forristall said. "They produce, they are going to push me. It's for me."
Miller's father also spoke on the decision to accept the Alabama offer so early in the process: "From the very beginning Miller wanted to play football at the highest level." Forristall said. "That was always at the forefront. After Alabama offered a week and a half ago, I looked at him and said it doesn't get any higher. The more we looked at it and thought about the situation, that really just became the final factor for him."
Listed at six-foot-five, 220-pounds, Forristall has ideal attributes to be a weapon down the field as well as the frame to add weight and become an elite blocker at the tight end position. While he is currently listed as a three-star prospect, Forristall currently holds offers from Missouri, Mississippi State, Michigan and Miami among several others.
