Moore’s decision seems to point to the lack of respect of the Big 12 as he is just one in a long line of prep stars who have committed to the Cowboys and wound up in the SEC. Fred Ross at Mississippi State in 2013, and Nick Starkel at Texas A&M in 2016 are just a few examples. The loss of Moore is a big hit to the future offensive line depth, a position the Cowboys have struggled at in recent years. This leaves Mike Gundy with 21 commits in the class of 2017, with just two of those being offensive lineman.
