Ireland's Katie Taylor won a fourth consecutive title in the 60-kilogram category while Cancan Ren of China emerged victorious in the 51-kilogram final at the Women's World Boxing Championships on Saturday.
Taylor scored an 11-7 win over two-time Russian world champion Sofya Ochigava in a competitive final that saw both boxers score two points each in the first two rounds for a 4-4 scoreline.
Taylor zipped ahead in the third with a 4-2 score and sealed the win with a 3-1 final round edge.
The 51-kilogram class was a repeat of last year's final as Ren again prevailed over Nicola Adams of England.
