'Rocky' fans get first look at 'Creed' trailer

Sylvester Stallone is coming back as Rocky Balboa, but don't worry -- he's not fighting for another title shot. In fact, he's not even the focus of the movie.
"Creed," coming out this fall, follows the story of Adonis Johnson Creed -- son of Apollo Creed -- as he fights for his own shot at glory in the ring.
Apollo Creed was the rival turned friend of the first few "Rocky" movies, beating Stallone's character in the climax of the original, then losing to him in the rematch that capped the second movie. The pair become friends in the third movie, with Apollo training Rocky for his bout against the up-and-coming Clubber Lang (a role made famous by Mr. T).
That movie ends with an infamous scene of the two squaring off one last time privately, Rocky's payment for being trained by Creed. He makes his final appearance in "Rocky IV," coming out of retirement to fight Russian behemoth Ivan Drago -- a decision that proved fatal.
OK, back to "Creed."
The new movie features the younger Creed, played by Michael B. Jordan, coming back to Philadelphia and seeking out Balboa's help in training. From the trailer, it doesn't look like he has a high opinion of his father, however.
Real-life boxers Tony Bellew and Andre Ward are also featured, with Bellew serving as Adonis' main foil -- "Pretty" Ricky Conlan.
There also looks to be an homage to the original Rocky's training methods.
