Reports: Mayweather-Pacquiao fight set; parties just waiting for 'Money'

You can say this much about the ongoing (OK, dragging) negotiations for a Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight -- at least the story stays on course.
As has been the case in days past, reports emerged Thursday that the fight is near-complete, and the only hurdle left to clear is one erected by Mayweather. But this time, it sounds like the fight really may be a done deal. As in, perhaps with a signed contract in place.
Las Vegas was buzzing midday Thursday as rumors flew that the fight would actually be announced at some point in the day, perhaps imminently.
In a matter of min/ hours Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be the most talked about fighters in the entire world #MayweatherPacquiao

Alas, no deal was announced. But as the details became clear, it appears that many insiders believe the fight -- reportedly to be fought May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and expected to be worth $250 million -- is set, and all that remains is for the announcement. And thus, the holdup.
Basically every1 involved in #MayweatherPacquiao (both sides) simply waiting for Floyd to announce. All are calm & say negotiation complete.

Of course with "Money," all bets are off as to how or when that announcement will come.
