Report: Warren Buffett rebuffs Mayweather, refuses to walk out with him

Figures. Floyd Mayweather Jr. made $32 million guaranteed for Saturday's victory over Marcos Maidana and still got snubbed by billionaire Warren Buffett.

The 84-year-old Buffett actually was supposed to walk out with Mayweather along with Justin Bieber and rapper Wiz Khalifa — yes, that's right —€” but pulled out when his company, Berkshire Hathaway, advised him against it, sources told TMZ. Apparently, Buffett had appeared with Mayweather in a documentary that also showed the champ in the company of women and weed, and Buffett's advisors felt it was bad for business.

Or maybe they heard Mayweather's name mentioned in connection with domestic violence only about a million times in the past couple weeks.

Either way, Buffett backed out and Mayweather walked out alone. But Buffett did wish the champ luck before the watching the fight — his first ever, he told CNBC.

Who knew Buffett was such a sucker for Money?

Buffett's been in Mayweather's corner since the champ revealed he's a big fan of the billionaire and other moneymakers like Mark Cuban and Bill Gates.

"Those are the guys, when I was young, that I always looked up to," Mayweather told CNBC.

So Buffett showed up at Mayweather's training camp in August and faced down the champ.

While in Vegas last weekend, Buffett also had another big first: his first bet with a sports book. And he won $500 betting on Nebraska.
