A kickboxer has died after collapsing during a weekend Muay Thai bout in Australia.
Police on Tuesday said the 35-year-old man, who has not been named, died in a hospital Monday after losing consciousness during a New South Wales state event in Sydney sanctioned by the World Muay Thai Council on Saturday.
An autopsy is being carried out to establish a cause of death.
New South Wales state sports minister Graham Annesley said he has ordered an investigation into the incident.
