While Kovalev-Ward is by far the marquee attraction, the other fights compensate for a lack of star power by simply being solid match-ups.

Women’s boxing has been marginalized for far too long, and Shields is viewed by many as a potential star. Crews, though, is no slouch; although she lost to Shields as an amateur, Crews did win eight national titles and two medals at the world championships (silver in 2012 and bronze in 2016).
