The governing body of Olympic boxing has defeated 13 national members in court, clearing the way for it to hold its congress in Kazakhstan next week.
The International Amateur Boxing Association says the civil court in its home city of Lausanne dismissed a case brought by countries including England, Belgium and Thailand over a dispute that involved voting rights at the Nov. 1-3 meeting in Almaty.
AIBA president Wu Ching-Kuo is now set to be re-elected unopposed on Tuesday.
Wu says the AIBA has become ''open and transparent'' in his first four-year term, and the court confirmed the congress was organized properly.

The lawsuit claimed dozens of AIBA members were wrongly barred over unpaid subscription fees.
