Arreloa in ring Saturday night in Mexico

Former heavyweight title challenger Chris Arreola (33-2, 28 KOs) hopes to continue to revive his once-promising career as he steps into the ring this Saturday against Raphael Butler (35-11, 28 KOs). The bout will take place in Leon, Mexico and will be broadcast on Televisa.
The 30-year-old Arreola was once one of the brightest American heavyweight prospects but his star has since dimmed considerably after losing twice within a year Vitali Klitschko and Tomaz Adamek. Since those crushing defeats, the often out-of-shape Arreola has been on what many fight fans would consider a glorified sparring tour meant to build the former prospect back to contender status.
It may be working.
Arreola has come fit and trim to the ring for his last five fights, all of which he has won. Team Arreola hopes to make it six in a row against Butler, a fighter coming into the bout with three consecutive losses — two by TKO.
Arreloa has been rumored as a possible future opponent of IBF, WBO and WBA heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.
