Harvick got a great jump on the restart and pulled to a .633 second lead at the end of the first lap. He continued to expand his lead until the white flag lap when he held a 3.491-second margin. Harvick cruised to the checkered flag with just under a three-second win.
"I was mad at Robby after Sears Point (when Gordon passed Harvick under yellow), but I guess the tables are even today," said Harvick. "He held up those guys and gave us a cushion so the win is as much his as it is ours."
