Impact All the talk here is going to be about Tate's late comeback attempt which proved to nearly be enough, but the truth of the matter is that she looked awful for the vast majority of a completely winnable fight. To Miesha's credit, she continued to push forward in hopes of making something happening. The problem was that she had no real plan in doing so and Santos simply kept clipping her before getting out of range. Tate finally landed a takedown and some control time in Round 3, but Santos was able to hang on to see the final bell. Now 38 years old, Miesha hadn't fought since December 2023. She has just two fights dating back to July 2022. The UFC booked her softly here and she couldn't get the job done. Tate might be finished.
