Ronda Rousey: I can beat Floyd Mayweather with monkey crawl from Bloodsport
Ronda Rousey thinks she could beat Cain Velasquez, so Floyd Mayweather should be no problem, right?
The UFC women's bantamweight champion joked on Power 106 radio in Los Angeles last month that she could defeat Mayweather, but only after employing the "monkey crawl" from Bloodsport.
"I would drop down to the ground and crawl over to him as fast as I can and then I'd grab him by the legs," Rousey said. "I wouldn't even stand up. I wouldn't even be anywhere near him."
The host "Big Boy" then asked Rousey what would happen once things got to the ground.
"I spend a lot of time there and I doubt that he does," she said.
Rousey also told a funny story about fighting with nine stitches in her foot during her first pro fight, against Ediane Gomes at King of the Cage in 2011. Her roommate's dog bit a hole in her foot and she covered up the injury by wearing an ankle guard reversed.
Getting past the weigh-ins was the toughest part. Even though she was under weight, Rousey stripped all off her clothes before getting on the scale so athletic commission personnel had to hold towels around her. She took off her socks last and put them on first so no one could see the gnarly cut.
"I weighed in like four pounds under," Rousey said. "Everyone was like, 'That was absolutely for no reason. She just wanted to get naked.'"

And to be allowed to wear the ankle sleeve, Rousey said instead of warming up before her fight she was "flirting [her] ass off" with every guy she could find from the commission.
"Instead of making me take the sleeve off to check for tape, they just stuck their finger inside of it and felt for tape," Rousey said.
Unfortunately for them, it was the only feel they got.
