Heather O'Reilly made her last USWNT cap perfect with a goal

After 15 years with the United States, Heather O'Reilly has decided to retire from the national team. But before she stepped away, she wanted to play one more match for the Stars and Stripes. Fittingly, she scored in that match, finding the back of the net after just four minutes.

That was O'Reilly's 47th goal for the U.S., not that it was a surprise she scored. After all, Thailand were no match for the Americans so the U.S. always figured to get a bunch of goals. And with it being O'Reilly's last game, these were the team's tactics:

The last few days have been all about O'Reilly and the match was definitely all about her. She was the captain and was honored on the field before kickoff. No matter what happened, it was going to be a memorable night, but getting that goal just makes it extra sweet.
