Watch Barcelona's Gerard Pique star in new Shakira music video

Shakira dropped the video for her new single, "Me Enamore," on Friday and she spends much of the video frolicking and going on adventures with some mystery man throughout -- until a big reveal at the end. Ah, the suspense.

Who could this mystery man possibly be? Her partner, Barcelona centerback Gerard Pique, of course. If you can forgive us for spoiling the shocking surprise twist at the end of the video (sarcasm), you can watch it here:

Why wouldn't the Barcelona star appear in a Shakira music video? After all, they met on the video shoot for Shakira's song "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)," the official song of the 2010 World Cup.

But Pique doesn't exactly get to show off very many acting chops in this new music video, so for now, we recommend he stick with soccer. Right now that's with Barcelona, who are in the thick of a La Liga title race, but he has said he would be willing to play somewhere else before he retires, like Shakira's homeland of Colombia or even in the United States. We'll have to wait and see.
