A 14-year-old named Mustafa Kapi just made his senior debut with Galatasaray

It's been quite a couple of months for youth debuts. Early in October we saw 13-year-old Karamoko Dembele make his bow with the Celtic U20 side, but now, Galatasaray have done one better. On Saturday, 14-year-old Mustafa Kapi made his senior debut with the club.

This isn't a youth or reserve team. This is Kapi going on to the pitch for his SENIOR debut. A kid born in 2002 is playing in a match (a friendly vs. Levski Sofia, but still) for a club that has won a record 20 Super Lig titles in Turkey. A club that has won European Cups. A club that played in the Champions League last season. Yep, that club just put a 14-year-old on the pitch.

That is incredible.

Kapi came on in the 89th minute, so his debut was little more than a cameo. But if you don't think it meant the world to him, look at what his reaction was after the match:

A hug for head coach Jan Olde Riekerink. Talk about having a great day.
