Officially, NFL free agency kicks off at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, signaling the period where franchises can begin contacting potential additions to their teams.

Unofficially...well, it looks like Robert Griffin III is in Houston already.

For whatever reason—certainly nothing having to do with Griffin coming aboard to take his place on the Texans' rickety, neverending quarterback carousel—the recently released former Redskins quarterback appears to be on the Houston Texans' home turf head of the free agency kickoff.

Twitter user Matt Kinard posted a picture of Griffin, mismatched socks and all, at lunch. According to Kinard, RG3 was eating at a Ruggles Green restaurant in Houston this afternoon.

So there is: Definitely a picture of Griffin in Houston. Certainly not an indication of things to come.
