Vikings coach Mike Zimmer had 'minor medical procedure' after loss to Bears

Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer had what the team called a “minor medical procedure” Tuesday morning, a day after the Vikings' 20-10 loss to the Bears.

Zimmer, who is recovering from the surgery, did not attend his day-after-game news conference Tuesday, but the team said he would be available to answer questions Wednesday. The Vikings did not disclose any specifics about the procedure or the coach’s condition.

The Vikings (5-2) take on the Lions Sunday in an NFC North matchup.
