Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman was on "Good Morning America" to promote his book "No Excuses" which was released on Tuesday.

Coleman is only the third hearing impaired player to ever make it to the NFL. He said it was not always his dream to make it to the NFL, but to be able to do anything he sets his mind to.

“It wasn’t so much the NFL,” Coleman told ABC News’ Deborah Roberts. “It was more proving everybody wrong.”

One of the main reasons Coleman wrote this book was to inspire the children that feel alone or bullied.

“I want them to know that, one, you’re not alone, and, two, if you just stick together, hand by hand, we can do anything,” Coleman said.
