Texans fired up about about Rockets' series win

Published May. 18, 2015 1:06 p.m. ET

The Houston Rockets are four wins away from a trip to the NBA Finals, and their march through the playoffs has attracted plenty of support and interest from the NFL team that shares their city.

Members of the Houston Texans took to Twitter on Sunday to congratulate the Rockets on their 113-100 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals.

J.J. Watt, who caused a stir with his dance moves during the Rockets' opening-round series against the Dallas Mavericks, expressed his Houston pride, along with a number of his teammates.

Even one of the newest Texans, first-round pick Kevin Johnson, seems to have caught a case of Rockets fever.

The Rockets face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals, beginning Tuesday. It's a good bet Watt and the Texans will be paying close attention.
