No one showed up at Levi’s Stadium to watch Bengals-49ers

San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York upset players and fans alike with some recent moves to shake up the front office, and Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals was proof of that.

The 49ers fell behind 24-0 at Levi’s Stadium and eventually lost 24-14, but lucky for them, very few fans showed up to witness the beating.

This is how you send a message to ownership:

Technically, the game will be announced as a sellout because of personal seat licenses, but these photos show it was anything but that.

While only a handful of fans attended the game, an airplane did manage to fly an anti-York banner over the stadium before kickoff. “Hold Jed accountable,” it read.

For 49ers fans, this nightmare season can’t end soon enough, and things don’t look to be getting any better anytime soon.
