FOX Sports has learned that Chicago offensive coordinator Adam Gase, Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and New York Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo are among the candidates the Eagles will consider pursuing as replacements for the fired Chip Kelly.
As first reported last Friday by FOX Sports, Gase also is being sought by the Miami Dolphins for a meeting. Gase, 37, should have other options as well. He helped rejuvenate the NFL career of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in 2015 after spending the previous two seasons working with Peyton Manning in Denver.
McAdoo also had success helping quarterback Eli Manning get his career back on track after joining the Giants in 2014. Manning has thrown 65 touchdowns with 28 interceptions over the past two seasons after a 2013 campaign in which he threw 18 TDs and 27 picks.
Although his unit finished in the middle of the NFL pack this season, Austin has received high praise for his overall body of work in Detroit over the past two seasons.
The Eagles already have confirmed running backs coach Duce Staley interviewed for the position last Saturday.
Kelly was released from his contract last Tuesday after three seasons at the helm.
