Eli Manning had a good excuse for missing Peyton's retirement press conference

Almost all of Peyton Manning's nearest and dearest friends and family members made it to his retirement press conference Monday, but there was one notable face who was absent. Younger brother Eli was a no-show, but Archie Manning offered an explanation for his younger son's absence before any rumors of a brotherly feud could crop up.

Although the stomach flu is never much fun, at least Eli will not have to worry about getting caught making any unfortunate faces again. The younger Manning drew attention at the Super Bowl when cameras caught him looking anything but excited about Peyton's second Super Bowl win.
