Oregon's new Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center is incredible

Marcus Mariota set every significant passing record in Oregon history and won the Heisman Trophy. But he never won a national championship, so we might wonder why the school named the new Marcus Mariota Sports Performance Center after him.

That is, until we step foot in the 29,000-square-foot, $19 million facility — and then all we can do is drop our jaws over how incredible it is.

It's got everything that Phil Knight's money could buy, including a boxing ring, "sleep pods" where athletes can get some shut-eye, a motion-capture camera and a bunch of other innovative, state-of-the-art "sports science" stuff.

Oh yeah, and a shrine to Mariota in the front. More than he deserves? Maybe, but as FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman reminds us, Mariota's a great guy who won't do anything to force Oregon to take his name off the building.
