Tom Brady tried to assemble his receivers Ron Burgundy-style

Tom Brady is apparently an Anchorman fan. The New England Patriots quarterback has a new Facebook video up, and he channels Ron Burgundy in a spoof of the "news team, assemble" scene.

Brady clearly recorded this video while on vacation with his wife, Gisele Bundchen, and their children, but if Brady is trying to assemble his receivers, that could be a sign that the quarterback is home and ready for some football.

Even if Brady is still at the beach and wants his Patriots receivers to join him there, well, that shouldn't be a hard sell. There's nothing like a game of catch in the sand.

Update: 

Luckily for the QB, teammates Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola were ready to answer the call. The duo jumped in a cop car in full police regalia to help Brady out, but they took a brief pit stop for donuts on the way.

Such is the nature of the offseason.
