NFL changes start time of Packers-Falcons matchup in Week 8

Fans of the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons, you need to mark this on your calendars. The start time of the Packers-Falcons game in Week 8 has been changed from 1 p.m. ET to 4:25 p.m. ET and will be televised on FOX.

The Falcons’ 4-1 start likely plays a part in this change, giving Atlanta better exposure on a nationally televised stage. To make room for that time slot, the Cardinals and Panthers have been bumped to a 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

Going into the season, many believed the 1-4 Panthers and 2-3 Cardinals would be vying for the NFC title. But both teams have started slower than expected.
