Minnesota Vikings players had a weird pregame tribute to Harambe

With all the different ways that Harambe has managed to sneak into the world of sports, it's not surprising that the late, great Cincinnati Zoo gorilla was the subject of a tribute during the first Sunday of NFL season.

It didn't take long, either, as some Minnesota Vikings players honored the primate during the pregame hype session in the tunnel before their Week 1 game against the Titans. They went "spoons out for Harambe" (whatever that means), and you can watch it below.

I think it's pretty safe to say that this meme has jumped the shark.
