Matt Ryan impressed with Vic Beasley thus far

Vic Beasley is making his presence felt at minicamp for the Atlanta Falcons. So much so, that quarterback Matt Ryan shot some praise in his direction, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of AJC.com.

“He’s really showing what he can do,” Ryan told AJC.com. “He’s got great speed off the edge. He’s been working really, really hard. It’s a lot.”

It's one thing to get praise from analysts, but a whole different thing to get the praise from the franchise quarterback. Ryan likes what he sees from Beasley, and it's safe to say that he'll likely be glad to have him on his side, instead of on the other side of the line when the actual season kicks off.

Expectations are high for the Falcons this year, even after their struggles in 2014, and as the offseason rolls on, those expectations seem to grow even more.
