Joseph Fauria sprains ankle trying to stop dog from urinating in home

The Detroit Lions have endured some awful luck when it comes to strange injuries.

Last season, wide receiver Nate Burleson broke his arm after he crashed his car while trying to save a pizza box from falling.

This year, linebacker Stephen Tulloch tore his ACL while celebrating a sack.

Add Joseph Fauria and his little dog to the list of freak accidents.

The Lions tight end sprained his ankle while trying to stop his dog, Lil' Rufio, from urinating inside his house.

There were rumors that Fauria was hurt during a recreational volleyball game with his friends.

At least that wouldn't have been as embarrassing as the actual story.

The rest of the Lions should just be extra careful while doing everyday tasks at home because bad voodoo seems to be following this team.
