James Harrison explains why he returned his children's participation trophies

Pittsburgh Steelers great and two-time Super Bowl champion was disgusted to find out last year that his two sons were awarded participation trophies, which made him a bit of a hero to old-school parents who don't approve of such awards. 

In an appearance on Steve Harvey, Harrison recalls the discussion he had with his children, and revealed that he left the trophies on their coach's porch.

According to Harrison, he simply wanted to convey to his children that nothing in life is free.
