Greg Hardy reportedly was late for meetings and became a distraction for the Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys won’t bring back defensive end Greg Hardy next season because he didn’t take care of himself off the field, Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reports.

"Hardy partied a lot during the season and simply was not in great physical shape as the season wore on and on and on," Cole says, adding that Hardy arrived late for meetings and became a distraction.

Still, Hardy generally played for well for the Cowboys in 2015, recording six sacks.

They had brought him to Dallas despite domestic violence allegations and a one-year suspension the previous season. Charges eventually were dismissed, just as graphic photos were published showing bruising suffered by his former girlfriend, allegedly caused by him.
